My name is Dr. Tamkeen Shroff and I am the Head of School and On-site Owner of the Goddard School Long Meadow Farms. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Vanderbilt University, a Master's in Educational Administration from the University of North Texas, and a Doctorate in Education from Vanderbilt University in Leadership and Learning. I am a certified school principal, middle school science, and high school science teacher. I have been a professional science educator, artist, singer, and school administrator in both public and private school systems. I am the proud mother of four young girls (and 3 rescue dogs). I am passionate about early childhood learning and development and strongly support various charitable causes in the local community. My husband and I opened this center in August 2014 and are proud of the many accomplishments of the children and faculty members in the past 11 years.
I am Ms. La'Nekka, the second youngest of five children from a big family. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Prairie View A&M University and plan to continue my studies in graduate school, focusing on Child Psychology. I have been working with children for the past 15 years as a teacher and nanny. Working with children is my passion, and I find great joy in the happiness they bring into my life, as well as in contributing to their growth, development, and joy. I have been part of The Goddard School Long Meadow Farms since its first few months of opening, working in the Infants and Toddlers program. It has been a privilege to watch so many young children grow and flourish over the years.

Early in my career, I obtained my Child Development Associate credential and later became a certified Director through the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. I am also a certified Trainer for First Aid and CPR through the American Red Cross. I am dedicated to continuous professional growth and have pursued training in child health and safety, child development, instructional strategies, and school management techniques. I am passionate about helping children develop their minds, learn life skills, and expand their knowledge and abilities. Since the opening of The Goddard School at Long Meadow Farms, I have been honored to serve as Director, working alongside wonderful families and teachers to provide a nurturing and high-quality learning environment.
My name is Ms. Marisol Rizo, and I am a proud mother of two children from California. My career in early childhood education began with Early Head Start, where I served as Vice-Chair for the parent committee. Since then, I have gained valuable experience as a preschool teacher and am currently pursuing my CDA in Child Development to continue growing in this field. In the classroom, I enjoy incorporating both Spanish and American Sign Language, creating a rich and inclusive learning environment. One of my proudest achievements has been helping speech-delayed children communicate through ASL, which has been both rewarding and inspiring. I am excited to be part of The Goddard School at Long Meadow Farms and look forward to supporting every child’s growth and development.
